"Leaping Leopard Cub" - This mother Leopard was being amazingly relaxed and patient as her little cub explored this tree and her tail as well as jumping over her and basically being a cranky toddler during a rainy morning in Tsavo West National Park. This sighting was literally around the corner from the camp I was staying at and we enjoyed these two for about 75 minutes (I know how long it was, I was hungry for Waffles!!!) without interruption from anyone. The cub was playful, exploring the tree branches and mom's tail and mom was patient and somewhat immune to it all. The whole scene was set to the patter of soft falling rain drops and the sounds of a our camera shutters going off. Eventually we got the shots we wanted and just got to sit and enjoy these two lovely animals at ease with us in nature. I hope you enjoy.
